About My Clients
Are you searching for a life that has meaning after trauma or grief? Have you been fighting with your spouse or your partner? Have you been quietly navigating suicidal ideation or having a family member who is suicidal. I know what it feels like to lose your person, to worry about picking up all of the pieces, to not feel understood. All of this can feel unmanageable and like you are at the end of your rope. You don't have to suffer in silence anymore, Let's journey together.
My Background and Approach
I take a trauma informed approach and equip you with the tools that I have spent years personally and professionally working on. I have spent my tenure helping people just like you and my goal is for you to have a few tools in your toolbox to have with you for the rough days. I am both gentle and direct. We'll start with what's going on in the moment and how to get control over your body and thoughts. I have attended training to navigate what is going on in your body, and how to regain your sense of control and safety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that humans are generally good, and resilient. I believe that our brains have adopted different ways to cope and keep you safe, the reason how I know it works? Because you are reading this. Your brain has carried you until this point. I like to refer to myself as a wounded healer, through my own personal therapy journey and grad school and trainings I have learned how to navigate the messy middle of life. I want you to experience the same freedom and joy I have learned to experience. I believe dogs are the best animals (I have 4); and iced coffee is a four seasons drink. I work closely with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and have a strong passion for working with those who are experiencing suicidal ideation. I believe that we are capable of change and moving through things that feel hard and coming out on the other side stronger.
