About My Clients
I work with adults experiencing difficulty with anxiety and mood disorders. They want to step out of their comfort zone, use their thoughts and strengths to address life's changes and cultivate interpersonal resolutions. More importantly, they are willing to collaborate to bring healing and wellness into their lives. As a result, they are willing to do the work, offer themselves grace as they navigate life, and understand that change will take time.
My Background and Approach
Life can be challenging–it has ups and downs. Together, we can move toward your goals in a judgment-free space that allows you to explore what is best for you. We will honor where you are now, where you will be, and where you have been. I will help you work toward stepping out of your comfort zone using your thoughts and strengths to address life's challenges. But more importantly, I will offer grace as we work toward cultivating wellness, healing, and transformation to create a ripple effect of positivity on your life and those around you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an active community member, I often volunteer and help with my church's health and children's ministry. From these experiences, I can continue to live out my mission: meeting individuals where they are and helping them get where they want to be. Even further, I value offering grace and asking for help when needed. Through my community work, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals of color to help them get the resources they need to produce lives that support their goals. Outside of my community work, I value self-care, spending time with God, enjoying time with friends and family, cooking, and spending time to process and reflect. Even further, I value reaching out to others when I need support, as therapists need support systems like clients. Lastly, we are all created equal. My sessions do not allow discrimination or any form of oppression. Instead, we use our safe environment to process situations and heal from situations that can harm our well-being.
