About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, childhood trauma, adoption-related challenges, agoraphobia, social anxiety, and recovery. I also support those who identify as “outsiders” or creatives, who seek to be heard, respected, and guided in processing trauma, changing patterns, and making meaningful decisions. My goal is to help clients live a more thriving, fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
Working with me as your therapist is a collaborative and relational experience. I believe mental health is a human right, and a key part of achieving that is leveling the playing field between client and therapist. In our sessions, I will bring my clinical experience and training while prioritizing your unique story and perspective. We’ll work together to create a personalized plan that focuses on your goals, helping you reduce symptoms and develop the tools to manage challenges as they arise. Our partnership will center around your journey toward healing, resilience, and reclaiming a meaningful life with a sense of empowerment and well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’ve spent many years working in international human rights, particularly advocating for the rights of minorities and Indigenous Peoples. This work has focused on group rights, land rights, and environmental justice. While my active involvement in this field has taken a step back recently, I remain connected and involved where I can, as I believe these issues are deeply interconnected with individual and collective well-being. My experiences in this area continue to shape my values and approach to therapy.
