My Background and Approach
My focus is establishing and maintaining trust. I spend a great deal of time listening and giving space to long-held tensions. Together, we build foundational and wellness practices that offer in-depth care and support. In this body-mind therapy, I include a breadth of somatic care, bodywork, breath-work, mindfulness practices, guided meditation, and other holistic tools. I provide on-going mentoring and support, stress-reduction therapies, and embodiment practices. I developed this therapeutic wellness practice through my Nursing history, my work as a Yoga Therapist, a Healing Touch Practitioner, and a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. You receive supportive and practical tools for managing life. My work is used as a stand-alone practice or as a complement to traditional therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work meets you where you are. This client-led and non-diagnostic work is where classical body-mind therapy meets contemporary somatic science. I am passionate about authentic trust; working with you to reconnect to your healing potential and inherent wisdom. My compassionate and gentle practices help you to develop the integral qualities you want to reawaken, including self-agency, emotional intelligence, coping skills, and self-respect. My background as an ICU nurse, hospice volunteer, and lay pastoral counselor inform the foundation of my work.
