About My Clients
I provide psychotherapy to adults with anxiety, interpersonal issues, and stress related to work, academics, and life transitions. I am also a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist and have 20 years of experience working with clients during pregnancy/postpartum and providing therapeutic support around managing parenting-related mental health concerns and stressors from infancy to empty nest.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I believe that change is possible with connection, communication, and collaboration with a trusted person on a regular basis. In that spirit, our work together will feel like an ongoing conversation. I will listen mindfully and compassionately. We will explore your feelings and experiences while working to deepen self-awareness, strengthen coping, enhance your sense of self so that your symptoms and stressors feel more manageable in the context of your daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I love being a therapist because I have always been fascinated by people’s experiences, stories, and feelings. I strive to make genuine, meaningful connections with all of my clients so that they – you! – can feel comfortable being open and honest about what has brought you to therapy. Whether we meet online or in person, I provide an inclusive, affirming, judgement-free space for you to show up as you are and feel what you feel without having all the answers. No topic is off-limits. By prioritizing this time for yourself, you’re taking meaningful steps towards healing, connection, self-empowerment, and lasting change. Therapy is your time. You deserve it.
