About My Clients
I love to see clients with challenges relating to ADHD, Autism, anxiety, grief, parenting, self harm, and trauma. My ideal client is a child, teen or adult looking for a compassionate space to explore themself and work towards who they want to be.
My Background and Approach
Before going into private practice, I worked at an agency providing therapy for foster children and their parents. Additionally, I worked at a partial hospitalization program providing treatment to teens and families. I am certified to provide DBT by the Treatment Implementation Collaborative, and also use principles of CBT, Humanistic, and Play therapy to guide my practice. I have been described as energetic, playful, and passionate and this definitely shows up in the way I provide therapy. My goal is to help you reach your goals and I want to make therapy a safe and inclusive space for anyone who comes to my office. There is no right or wrong way to show up, and my biggest goal is that you feel that you can be your authentic self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in social justice, equality, and a collaborative future. I believe that when we make life better for the most marginalized in our society, we all benefit. I’m a strong supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and I am passionate about Neurodiversity. I believe that neurodiverse individuals are incredible and important to the world, and that the world is a better place because of divergent minds. I also believe in disability justice and advocacy for chronically ill and disabled folks.
