About My Clients
I provide services to children, adults, and older adults. I have experience working with clients to address depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and loss. I employ art therapy as a form of grounding, self-image exploration, and creative expression for each individual’s goals.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in schools, residential treatment centers, and continuing care communities over the past 5 years. Overtime I have used DBT, CBT, ACT, existential, and strengths-based theories to inform my practice. When utilizing art therapy or any intervention, I reference each client's interests, needs, and values to ensure it is meaningful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value creativity, knowledge, connection, and growth which influences my practice and everyday life. Creativity not only in the perspective of art making but thinking in creative ways to also achieve goals. Knowledge in not only learning but also of cultures. I see connection as feeling connected to the people around me in a meaningful way. Growth connects to myself, career, and also wanting to see the growth in my clients.
