About My Clients
Are you looking to make changes and feel overwhelmed with knowing how or where to start? Are you needing help in navigating the symptoms and challenges that have been making it hard to engage with your life, others, and the world in the way you want? It is my privilege to provide a reliable and nonjudgmental space for these processes or if you just need to be listened to about whatever is coming up in your inner and outer worlds whether that be anxiety, depression, relationship/intimacy issues.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in harm-reduction, strengths-based, and trauma informed philosophies. I used additional evidence-based approaches when needed to fit care to each individual and their personal needs and goals including CBT, mindfulness and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I personally believe in the immense resilience that humans have and that this can be emphasized in the therapeutic relationship. I believe in making a safe space for any and all human beings to bring whatever it is that they are experiencing, goals they want to work on, or feelings/thoughts they want to work through. My top values include authenticity and respect. I feel passionately about working with individuals that have identities, interests, or experiences that make it hard to find inclusive care. I want to use my experience and knowledge to allow individuals to feel heard, empowered, and not alone in their journeys. I always show up as my authentic self in hopes of making therapy a deeply human and healing relationship.
