About My Clients
I see individuals, couples, and families and provide counseling for those who want help with sexual concerns, disordered eating, body image recovery, prenatal/postpartum issues, relationship strains, and problematic substance use. I want to understand what it is you hold most dear and find meaningful in your life and relationships. By doing this, I can help you identify and navigate how to align with your values, intentionally, through awareness of unhelpful patterns and incremental change.
My Background and Approach
I am AASECT certified and rooted in systems theory, to view people as interrelated and interdependent who part of a larger system in order belong . I provide education and sensitivity so that we can explore your values, obstacles, sexuality, family history and dynamics, and commitment to making meaningful changes in your life and relationships. Additionally, I am a MN Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. I have completed a number of advanced trainings post graduate school, which includes Perinatal/Postpartum & Maternal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
