About My Clients
Is anxiety, self-doubt, or painful memories keeping you awake at night? Are you having trouble focusing on important tasks during the day because you are constantly worrying about things? Anxious thoughts can be like bullies pushing you around, preventing you from being present and enjoying life. Often the clients I work with feel overwhelmed by stress, worries, and the daily pressures of life and want to feel less consumed by these things, and feel more present and engaged in their lives.
My Background and Approach
Clients consistently tell me how free they feel when they are no longer carrying the guilt, worry, and stress that has been weighing them down. As much as that feels impossible right now, I’m here to tell you that change is within reach. My hope for clients is that they are able to regain control of their lives and be able to enjoy the things that are meaningful to them. I apply evidence-based techniques to help people reach their goals and see tangible, concrete changes in their life and relationships. This means we figure out what is getting in the way for you, what you've tried in the past, and find a new path forward. It is not uncommon for colleagues and clients of mine to joke about my hopeful outlook, sense of humor, encouraging demeanor and ability to both sit with individuals in their pain while also helping them to see a path forward. My style is often described as calm, compassionate, and genuine in providing specific feedback.
