About My Clients
I work with clients ages pre-teen through adulthood, and particularly love working with teens and young adults. Many of my clients have experienced traumatic childhoods or incidences throughout their lives, however that is certainly not a requirement to gain support through a trauma lens! Many of my clients are also seeking support with navigating relationship needs, life transitions, and deeper self understanding and growth.
My Background and Approach
My approach is very relational and emotion focused. I have extensive training in trauma and attachment focused therapy, which is the lens I approach all clients with. I absolutely love utilizing EMDR and IFS to support clients with processing and healing traumatic experiences and parts of self. I have worked in various different therapeutic settings, including residential treatment, in-home family therapy, and outpatient. This has given me such wonderful experience with people from all walks of life managing all different kinds of needs, and I bring all of this experience into my work now to see people through a systemic lens. *I am an out of network provider, meaning I do not accept insurance *I accept clients through Victims Compensation Assistance Program for individuals who qualify *I currently have a waitlist, but my practice has other wonderful, like-minded therapists with open availability!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I strongly value the relationship I am able to build with my clients that helps them grow to where they want to be. It is my deepest belief that healing and growth come from feeling safe, supported, and cared for within the therapy room, and I love being a part of that process with my clients. I provide this care through being curious, empathetic, challenging when I need to be, and with quite a bit of humor, because we’re all human after all! I strive to live my life as authentically as I can, openly expressing beliefs and sharing about the things I love in life, believing that clients deserve to know aspects of me when they so graciously show all of themselves in the therapy room.
