About My Clients

My ideal client is someone ready to explore their inner world and make meaningful change. Many of my clients seek to understand and make sense of challenging life experiences, striving to live more fully and authentically. I work well with those open to deep, reflective work and provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to help them develop insight, improve boundaries, strengthen relationships, and enrich their quality of life.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in PA, certified as an Eating Disorder Specialist. Since 2016, I’ve gained experience across all levels of care, including inpatient, partial, and IOP, with both group and individual work. I specialize in disordered eating, using a HAES approach and a feminist lens, as well as LGBTQ+ issues and trauma. As a mother and wife in a same-sex marriage, I understand the complexities of navigating identity and family in today’s world. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the agent of change, creating a safe, relational space where clients can reflect on their past and engage in the present. Grounded in psychodynamic and attachment theory, I use an eclectic approach tailored to clients’ needs, honoring their strengths and potential. I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), walk-and-talk sessions, and bring my therapy dog, Faye, for clients who find animals supportive.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer woman navigating marriage and family life, I understand the unique challenges within the LGBTQ+ community and have active engagement with my local pride community. My own healing journey has deepened my commitment to authenticity, compassion, and transparency in my work. I’m a strong advocate for social justice and believe in the transformative power of empathy and acceptance. Passionate about body acceptance and HAES, I encourage clients to honor their bodies and experiences. I also provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, offering clients an alternative path to healing and growth. My practice is grounded in these values, creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, empowered, and able to embrace their full selves.
