About My Clients
My clients come to me because they want to address the symptoms of anxiety and depression that they have been experiencing, such as worry, ruminating, overwhelm, lack of motivation, and sleep. Some know what the cause is, but some don't. I work with them to help alleviate the symptoms and explore the root causes of their struggle.
My Background and Approach
Pursuing psychology is a career switch for me. I have been able to combine my personal experience with my education and clinical experience. My approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to improve coping skills and shift negative thought patterns with psychodynamic techniques for deeper exploration. This combination offers tools to help you quickly while unearthing the roots of persistent issues to guide you toward lasting change. I believe therapy is a partnership based on trust. I am dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive space where you can safely explore what's holding you back and develop the skills needed for progress. As an LGBTQIA+ ally, I welcome clients of all faiths, backgrounds, and identities. Whether you’re facing a specific issue or navigating a broader life transition, I’m here to collaborate with you on your journey.
