About My Clients
My clients tend to be super creative and intuitive but often struggle with confidence and self-esteem because due to deep processing, they're overwhelmed and feel less productive. They may also be called"quirky" or "too sensitive". They may be told something is wrong with them even though they have amazing gifts that the world silently depends on. They are overstimulated and have empathy overload.
My Background and Approach
I take a holistic approach to therapy, so we’ll look at all aspects of health– physical, mental, spiritual, social and many more. I also use an approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), that focuses on accepting challenges in your life and using your values as a guide for how you will respond to what life has thrown at you. In addition to "talk therapy"-- using creative and out of the box approaches is my jam-- such as Sandtray therapy and Reiki when it's appropriate. The goal is to build a trusted and positive relationship with you. We can work together and focus on your strengths to figure out how you can move forward towards your goals. I will respect where you are while also working with you to meet your full potential so you can feel more like yourself.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
If you have a great sense of humor and love swearing then we'll probably get along great. As mentioned before, if you're an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) or consider yourself a neurodivergent person, you are my people. I love people that think outside of the box and I also love partnering with these people to come up with supports and strategies to be successful in their careers and personal lives. I'm highly sensitive myself, so I understand what it's like to feel different from others and compare myself to others that are not highly sensitive.
