About My Clients
Have you recently said to yourself "I don't want to do this anymore or feel this way anymore?" Whether it's having the same argument with your child or partner or struggling with the feelings of anxiety and depression that make daily life difficult, we will work together to get you to a life of greater confidence, balance, and satisfaction. I hope to support you in getting to a place where you aren't just surviving throughout the day but thriving throughout the day.
My Background and Approach
For over 12 years, I have been serving individuals, couples, youth and families in the Greater Boston area. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches that are trauma-informed, combined with movement and mindfulness. These practices will move you toward greater overall health and healing of your mind, body and soul. Most importantly, treatment will be tailored to the needs, hopes, strengths and values of the individual at a pace that is challenging yet safe at every step. Supporting with small sustainable changes throughout treatment are the way to longer term success. Hard work mixed with a little bit of fun is how I hope to support you in reaching your goals.
My Values as a Therapist
As a Family Therapist, I believe that solutions can be found in our relationships and connections. Building, maintaining, or strengthening the relationships with people and communities in our lives stands against isolation and disconnection. Everyone needs and deserves to be held, seen, and heard as uncommon as it may feel in the world right now. I am an ally of communities of Color and the LGBTQ+ community. I strive to further learn and reflect on my own privilege so that I can provide a therapeutic environment that is safe and free from judgement. In my own journey as a parent, I have learned that raising children is probably the most challenging role in my life - one that has brought great joy intertwined with moments of great anger and sadness. I look forward to sharing what I've learned, how I've shifted my own ways of parenting over time and how I can now look back and laugh at some of the ridiculous moments that come with raising a family.
