About My Clients
I love working with adults seeking to enhance their sense of self as they navigate through a complex and constantly changing world. I enjoy working with clients who are interested in "doing the work" in order to connect with their authentic selves and show up wholeheartedly in life. Some topics I often tackle with my clients include: attachment, inner child work, self-esteem, stress, anxiety, depression, women's issues, identity formation, relational issues, trauma and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2022. I have worked in both nonprofit and private practice settings with adults, couples, teens and groups. I am trained in EMDR and have been able to witness meaningful progress with my clients as they process past trauma. I am also trained in the Gottman Method couples therapy, which can help couples reduce conflict, build trust and strengthen their sense of shared meaning. I help my clients navigate through a number of issues including: depression, anxiety, grief/loss, self-esteem, emotion regulation, relational issues, inner child work, empowerment, trauma and family conflict.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer in the power of healing through fostering an accepting and affirming relationship with my clients. That's why I always prioritize safety, warmth and support in my practice. I am a client-centered therapist who leads with empathy. I believe that all human beings are worthy of love and belonging. I will celebrate you for all that you are and warmly welcome you into the therapeutic space with me.
