About My Clients
Are you experiencing overwhelming anxiety that disrupts your daily life? Are your emotions in the driver's seat? Do you want to learn how to take back control? Let’s be real: mental health is hard and sometimes it’s even harder to talk about it. I understand what that feels like and I want to support you in that. Maybe you want help understanding your emotions and even yourself. Do you want practical help beating the anxiety cycle or someone to listen when you're depressed? I'm here to support!
My Background and Approach
I offer a collaborative approach to counseling that focuses on both practical strategies and facing your challenges together. Whether it’s developing coping strategies for anxiety, enhancing emotional regulation, or you just want someone to walk with you through difficulties, my approach is tailored to help you achieve lasting, meaningful change. I want to honor your decision to start therapy and say congratulations— each step you’re taking is one of growth and healing and I’m honored to have the opportunity to be a part of your journey. While I enjoy working with a variety of counseling issues, I specialize in emotional identification and processing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, integrating parts work and faith-based counseling into my work. I’m passionate about making my counseling room (virtual or in-person) a safe space for all, regardless of your beliefs or backgrounds.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every human being is worthy of kindness, compassion, and respect. Whatever you're coming into counseling with, you don't have to carry it alone. My goal is to walk alongside you, partnering with you in working toward your goals. Whatever is leading you to seek counseling, our work together will be founded on grace, empathy, respect, and a blanket of support. As we enter into this counseling relationship, I believe that you will come in as the expert of your own life and it is my mission to bring in my expertise as a therapist to meet you where you're at. At the core of who I am as a therapist and as a human being, I believe that everyone has the right to be heard and to feel understood.
