About My Clients
Most folks begin therapy with me because they feel stuck in unhelpful patterns of communicating, they struggle to feel understood or supported in their relationship, and they want to navigate conflict and challenging emotions with greater ease. I support queer, gender expansive, neurodiverse, and polyamorous and non-monogamous couples, polycules and other relationship structures. I also specialize in working with stepparents and parents who are navigating a non-traditional family structure.
My Background and Approach
You are unique and so is the work we will do together; I encourage you to bring your own self-expertise into our sessions. I use a therapeutic framework in our sessions that creates emotional safety, fosters curiosity, encourages self-discovery, and deepens relational intimacy and mutual understanding. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being in relationship with others is where I find healing, meaning and growth. The work I ask clients to do in session is the same work I do in my own relationships. It is hard and painful at times to move towards relational healing and growth, but it is so worth it. Some of the identities I hold are: queer, non-binary, non-monogamous, neurodivergent and step-parent. I hold my values of curiosity, connection and community closely, and I try to bring those into all aspects of my life, including my work.
