About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who has “tried it all.” Someone who feels that life is already hard enough and wants to work towards lasting, fulfilling change through deep, explorative work. Someone who is open to change (and recognizes how hard it actually is) and is willing to practice self-compassion and kindness to achieve the goals they want.
My Background and Approach
As a bi-racial, affirming individual, I am no stranger to therapy and the struggles of change. I utilize a warm, empathic, and direct approach with clients to support and encourage you to dig deep and pursue your hopes and dreams, all while being kind and realistic around how human we actually are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an affirming, open individual. I come from a background full of trauma around attachment , identity, and religious oppression. As a cisgender, bi-sexual (married to a man and still happily claiming this aspect of my identity), bi-racial woman, my utmost priority is to welcome ANYONE to my space. I strive to be open and respectful around my own presence in the room and value my ability to meet people where they are, whether you are engaging in an affair or voting for someone that I am not. I will always do my best to provide a safe, open, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your values and identity in greater depth.
