About My Clients
Walking through life in an increasingly challenging world can leave us feeling out of touch with ourselves, bending to who we think we “should” be, and unsure of who we want to be. I work with my clients to help them embrace their natural curiosity, explore the patterns/behaviors that feel incongruous with their values, challenge the negative self-talk that holds them back, and help them to engage more fully in the joy that life can hold.
My Background and Approach
I enjoy working with with teens age 16+, young/emerging adults and middle-aged adults experiencing, anxiety, depression life transitions, relational issues, self-esteem concerns, substance use, trauma, and personal identity issues. I want to discover alongside you as we explore the root of your concerns through hearing your story and identifying the areas that are calling for growth and change. I aim to help my clients develop a deeper and more compassionate relationship with themselves, to have a more fulfilling relationships with those around them, and to live in authentic alignment with their core personal values. Together, we will collaborate in a therapeutic relationship that is built on empathy, curiosity, trust, honesty, and respect. I will bring my influences of existential, attachment and humanistic theories while flexing to your holistic needs (mind, body, spirit). Together, we will foster your inner wisdom, which will empower you to find meaning in your experiences.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you are the expert of you, and I place importance on learning your story and how things like gender, race, faith, health, and sexual orientation have shaped your world. Taking the step to be willing to share your story is one of the most courageous and self-loving decisions you can make, and one that I hold deep admiration for.
