About My Clients
Most of my clients are ADHD and LGBTQ+, and about half are BIPOC. Most people come to therapy with me to heal from the toxic relationships in the past, work on developing a healthy relationship with themselves, learn about the maximizing the strengths of ADHD, and find more joy and gratitude in their lives.
What I Specialize In
Hi! It's nice to meet you! I am available for one-time sessions for ADHD Assessments and gender-affirming letters! I'm ADHD and certified as an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider, and I am so excited that I can offer ADHD Assessments to people! I'm pansexual, and a trans and non-binary ally/advocate, and so I write gender-affirming letters (I charge for the session but the letter is free!) I'm also a DV survivor, and I created a course, workbook, and books to help people heal from this. I know it's hard right now, but it will get better and easier for you! See my website to learn more! I am full for ongoing therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My friends in school to become a therapist nicknamed me "AdvoKate" and I absolutely melted. I do advocate for people, and I also show people how to advocate for themselves. I have a lot of advocacy passions, though some are: DV, SA, BLM, LGBTQ+, trans rights, personal body autonomy, &climate change. I organized phone banks and canvases for, and was a precinct delegate for Bernie Sanders; I went to the CHOP almost every day; and I have spoken at city council meetings; as well as attended other protests, marches and activities. I stay on top of the news and I find ways to help whenever I can. I believe finding even small ways to give and advocate for change can be incredibly therapeutic and empowering. Though, I also like to remind people to put their own mental health first and to find that balance. We must always put our own life jackets first and take care of our own needs, before we can help others. Once we're ready, though, it can make us feel so strong, connected, and alive.
